Is Prêt Track free?
Yes, free and without ads.
Do I need an account?
No. The app signs in anonymously by itself, so your lists have an owner from the first loan. Sign in (email or Google) only to find your lists on another device.
Does the borrower need the app?
No. The borrower gets your message by SMS, WhatsApp or email, from you; the app never contacts anyone, and nothing of your lists is shared.
On my phone and my computer?
Yes: Prêt Track is a web app, it opens in the browser of a phone, a tablet or a computer. Sign in with the same account on each, and the same lists are there. Mobile apps, with reminders that ring, are coming.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once opened: the lists are kept on the device, a loan noted offline syncs when the network comes back.
Who can see my lists?
Nobody but you: they are in your private area, readable by your account only. The details are in the privacy policy.
Can I add a photo?
Yes, or a drawing of the catalog, in its color. A photo is reduced on your device (512 pixels at most) before it is saved; the last 1000 pictures of each list stay on the device.
In English?
English and French: the app follows the language of the device, or the one chosen in Settings. The messages to the borrower are written in that language.
How do I delete everything?
Settings, Account, Delete my account (Delete my data without an account): your lists, things, people, loans and photos, then your account.
