Prêt Track terms of use

Last updated: 2026-10-20

Prêt Track is made by Tekartik. Using it means accepting these terms. What the app stores is described in the privacy policy.

The service

Prêt Track keeps your lists of things lent, borrowed and owned, shows what is late or due soon, and prepares the messages asking for them back. It is free, provided as is, and may change, gain features or lose some as it evolves.

Your loans are yours

A loan recorded in Prêt Track is an arrangement between you and the other person; Tekartik is not part of it. The app helps you remember, it does not guarantee that a reminder is shown or sent on time, nor that a thing comes back. Keep the records that matter to you elsewhere too.

What you enter

You are responsible for what you enter, in particular the names and contact details of other people: only keep what they would expect you to keep, and use their contact details for your loans with them. The messages are sent by you, from your own messaging apps. You keep all rights to your content; Tekartik only stores it to provide the service.

Acceptable use

Do not use Prêt Track to store unlawful content, to harass anyone, or to disrupt the service (automated access, attempts to reach the data of other users). An account that does may be suspended or deleted.

Availability and liability

Tekartik does its best to keep Prêt Track running and your data safe, but cannot guarantee that the service is always available, nor that it is free of errors. As far as the law allows, Tekartik is not liable for a loss of data, a forgotten loan, or any consequence of using the app.

Ending

You may stop using Prêt Track at any time, and delete your account and all your data in the app (Account, see the privacy policy). Tekartik may end the service; where possible it would say so in the app beforehand, leaving time to note your loans.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by French law. They may change as the app evolves; the date above says when, the current version is always the one on this page. For any question, contact Tekartik through tekartik.com.
